The JGSDF conducted the Japan-U.S. bilateral command post exercise Yama Sakura (YS-79) with the U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps from December 2nd to 15th.

The Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) conducted a humanitarian assistance and disaster relief exercise called Christmas Drop in the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) and other regions from December 2nd to 14th.

SDF Joint Concerts for Juveniles

The MOD/JSDF held the SDF Joint Concerts for Juveniles at Showa Women’s University Hitomi Memorial Hall on November 28th and 29th and at Bunkamura Orchard Hall located in Shibuya on December 24th as alternative events for the JSDF Marching Festival 2020, which was cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
