Major Training and Exercises of the Self-Defense Forces

Given the security environment surrounding Japan, the Ground, Maritime, and Air SDF conduct various training and exercises throughout the year. These exercises are conducted both within Japan and abroad by each service of Self-Defense Forces or jointly.
