From 10 to 14 November, the MOD/SDF conducted a capacity-building project on military medicine to enhance the capabilities of medical personnel of the MOD of Kazakhstan. The program included lectures and practical training on damage control surgery using hybrid abdominal simulator models —a model developed for trauma surgery training using porcine organs to replicate the human abdomen— as well as lecture on extremity injury models. These activities contributed to strengthening Kazakhstan’s medical capabilities.
In addition, MOD/SDF held a seminar on Women, Peace and Security (WPS), sharing MOD’s initiatives, and exchanging views with Kazakhstan Armed Forces on their efforts in this area.
MOD/SDF will continue defense cooperation and exchanges with Kazakhstan to further strengthen bilateral relations and contribute to regional peace, stability, and the improvement of the global security environment.
