As part of a Military Medicine Bilateral Cooperation between Fuji and Japan, Instructors dispatched from National Defense Medical College and JGSDF Medical Service School provided lectures on medical field training and advice to RFMF personnel including candidates for UN Peacekeepers. They also provided the knowledge of teaching methods of UNFMAC (Field Medical Assistant Course) to a RFMF medical trainer.
As part of the program, the Director for International Cooperation on Women, Peace and Security (WPS) held a seminar on the basic concept of WPS and the effort of MOD/SDF.
MOD aims to deepen the relationship further between Japan and Fiji through future engagements under the Capacity Building Program.
