Recipient 8 Personnel from the Central Military Hospital of the Mongolian Armed Forces

From 9 to 13 July, the JMOD/JSDF invited 8 Personnel from the Central Military Hospital of the Mongolian Armed Forces to participate in an activity aimed at enhancing disaster response capabilities.

In this activity, participants observed a ‘Mass Casualties Response Exercise’ conducted by the JSDF Central Hospital, and visited the JGSDF Eastern Army Medical Unit and JGSDF Eastern Army Logistic Support Troop to survey equipment and exchange insights on disaster response and medical care.

And as a part of the program, JMOD delivered Women, Peace and Security (WPS) seminar and highlighted the importance of women’s participation and gender perspectives in HA/DR operations.

JMOD will continue to further strengthen the bilateral relationship between Japan and Mongolia.
