Activities based on Anti-Terrorism Special Measures Law (December 2001 - October 2007)

Overview

Japan was engaged in cooperation and support activities for six years since the enforcement of the Anti-Terrorism Special Measures Law, including dispatching supply vessels to the Indian Ocean to refuel vessels of other countries undertaking Maritime Interdiction Operations. The Law expired on November 1, and these operations were suspended.
