Japan-ASEAN Cyber International Law Seminar(2023)

On 8th November, as this year marks the 50th year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation, JMOD/JSDF conducted “Japan-ASEAN Cyber International Law Seminar” under the theme of “Promotion of rule of law in the cyber domain” for the first time by inviting 18 participants from ASEAN Member States. JMOD invited Dr. KONO, Keiko a subject matter expert on cyber and international law, and participants shared the importance of rule of law in the cyber space through lectures and group discussions. 6 participants from Bangladesh, Maldives and Sri-Lanka participated in the seminar as observers.
