Japan has been conducting a vehicle maintenance management program since 2015 to complement and entrench the practical vehicle maintenance training the JMOD and GSDF provided to the F-FDTL between 2012-2015 to enhance their HA/DR capacity. On this occasion, the JGSDF provided advice and instruction on how to improve maintenance techniques to further enhance the F-FDTL's vehicle maintenance management skills, and to contribute to their efforts to improve their vehicle maintenance work.
