JSO and GSDF Officers participated in the Medical Program of BALIKATAN 2017 as part of the JMOD Capacity Building Assistance to the Philippines. This was a joint program held by the US and the Philippines to improve AFP's medical capability. Japan and Australia participated in this program for the first time. We contributed to the efforts to improve medical capability of the Philippine Army through medical assistance in islands and presentations at medical symposium.
