　The JMOD/JSDF has been conducting a music education project with the Papua New Guinea Defence Force Band since 2015. As a follow up project this year, JGSDF instructors supported and trained the PNGDF Military Band to participate in the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, held in Sydney.
　From Oct, 17th – 19th the band performed with a Pipes & Drums unit supported by the UK, as well as the Fiji and Tonga Military Bands, playing the song “March Port Moresby” on instruments provided by Japanese Offical Development Assistance to audiences.
