On 22 March 2019, a total of 27 students graduated the first annual iteration of a capacity building project to enhance Japanese language skills at the Myanmar Defense Services Academy (DSA). Since May 2019, the JMOD has dispatched 2 Japanese language instructors from the GALAXY Educational Foundation, to train students and language trainers at DSA. The JMOD also periodically dispatched officials to monitor progress and to complement the training. The next iteration of this project will commence at DSA in May 2019.
