The JMOD/SDF provided a seminar on our efforts to maintain maritime security and the fundamentals of oceanography. The Japan Coast Guard introduced an outline of the Hydrographic and Oceanographic Department and its information map for disaster (tsunami) prevention. The Indonesian side explained the new activities conducted be the Indonesia Navy Maritime Operations Center. The Indonesian Navy has been keenly committed to these seminars as well as those held by Japan in February 2013, showing Indonesian Navy's high expectations for this program.
