Since 2012, the JMOD and GSDF have been providing civil engineering training and technical support, such as road construction training, to the Cambodian Military in support of Cambodia's United Nations Peace Keeping Activities.
This year, the JMOD/GSDF responded to a request from the Royal Cambodian Army Force (RCAF) and provided survey training to fifteen RCAF personnel. The trainees were eager to participate in the program and learned how to use specialist measuring devices, and essential drawing skills.
