The JMOD and JSDF conducted an HA/DR seminar program on Japan's system to provide disaster relief following large scale natural disasters at the Ministry and associated JSDF facilities. Participants were provided with briefings on the use of JSDF equipment, Japan's lessons learnt and the successes of past disaster relief operations. This was the first project of this kind to welcome participants from all ASEAN member-states and the ASEAN Secretariat.
