1. Japan-Greece Vice-Ministerial Defense Meetings
On 26 August 2026, State Minister of Defense Miyazaki visited the Hellenic Ministry of National Defence and held a meeting with Deputy Minister of National Defence Davakis. During their discussions, the two sides exchanged views on regional security issues as well as bilateral defense cooperation and exchanges, and confirmed their intention to further promote defense cooperation and exchanges across a wide range of fields.
2. Visit to Military Units and Facilities (Salamis Naval Base and Elefsina Air Base)
On 26 August 2026, State Minister Miyazaki visited Salamis Naval Base and Elefsina Air base, where he received a briefing on the bases and discussed future cooperation, including exchanges between our respective units.
3. Visit to the Hellenic Centre for Defence Innovation (HCDI)
