Tabletop Exercise of the Quad Indo-Pacific Logistics Network

On September 3 and 4, the Ministry of Defense of Japan (JMOD), together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and the diplomatic and defense authorities of the United States, Australia, and India, hosted its first tabletop exercise to advance the Indo-Pacific Logistics Network (IPLN). During the exercise, the four countries examined procedures for leveraging their respective logistics capabilities to provide assistance more rapidly and efficiently in the event of a major natural disaster in the region. Following the exercise, the four countries issued a joint press release.

JMOD will continue to promote cooperation with the United States, Australia, and India through various opportunities to realize a Free and Open Indo-Pacific.
