1. Regarding the international disaster relief activities in the Republic of Indonesia,JS Kunisaki departed Kijin Port today and proceeded to a position offshore Ketapang, Kalimantan Island.
2. This movement is intended to relocate the vessel to a position better suited for future operations, taking into account the wildfire situation and the weather conditions required for the safe conduct of activities, in coordination with the Indonesian authorities.
3. The Ministry of Defense and the Japan Self-Defense Forces will continue to make every effort to help Indonesia prevent further escalation of the damage.
