1. In connection with international disaster relief activities in the Republic of Indonesia, today the JMSDF JS Kunisaki, carrying JGFDF CH-47 helicopter,arrived off Ketapang, Kalimantan.
2. The CH-47 helicopter positioned off Ketapang is scheduled to commence firefighting operations as soon as preparations are completed.　
3. As a result, firefighting operations will be conducted from two locations:Kijing Port and JS Kunisaki off Ketapang
4. The Ministry of Defense and the Japan Self-Defense Forces will continue to make every effort to support Indonesia and help prevent further expansion of the damage.
