JMOD/JASDF conducted a seminar on Aviation Meteorology for approximately 20 personnel of the Vietnam Air Defense–Air Force engaged in aviation meteorology duties, as the capacity building for Vietnam.
In addition, dispatched personnel from JMOD/JASDF visited local meteorological units and facilities and held exchanges of views. Through these activities, they contributed to enhancing the effectiveness of meteorological support within the Vietnam Air Defense–Air Force.
The Ministry of Defense and the Self-Defense Forces will continue to contribute to strengthening bilateral relations between Japan and Vietnam.
