Jun 1-9, Japan Ministry of Defense conducted a capacity building project on Underwater Salvage & Rescue (Welding & Cutting) for Vietnam People’s Navy. All 13 Vietnam People’s Navy participants gained basic knowledge of shipwreck salvage & Rescue (Welding & Cutting) and successfully enhanced their skills. This new initiative further deepened defense cooperation between Japan and Vietnam.
