JMOD/JGSDF conducted a Japan-Fiji capacity building project on Military Medicine. As part of the project, instructors dispatched from JGSDF provided lectures and advice on field medical to RFMF personnel including candidates for international cooperation activities such as UN Peace Keeping Operation. They also shared the knowledge of teaching methods of UNFMAC (Field Medical Assistant Course) to a RFMF medical trainer.

Also, as part of the program, the officer from Indo-Pacific Regional Policy Division held a seminar on Women, Peace and Security (WPS) to share the basic concept of WPS and introduced the effort of JMOD/JSDF.

JMOD/JSDF further deepen the relationship between Japan and Fiji.
