From September 24th to 29th, the MOD/SDF invited 5 personnel from the Royal Cambodian Army to Japan to carry out a capacity building project in the field of PKO civil Engineering.

This project aimed to train heavy machinery operators and construction managers for the expert team required for the Royal Cambodian Army to dispatch engineering units to PKO. The program included classroom instruction in the basic knowledge required for crane operation, education on safety management and instruction methods for civil engineering and construction, education on operational coordination and safety management using actual cranes.

MOD will continue to promote defense cooperation between Japan and Cambodia to strengthen bilateral relations.
