On September 25, 2025, Minister Nakatani received a courtesy call from H.E. Mr. Nasser SHRAIDEH, Ambassador-Designate, Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Japan. Minister Nakatani thanked the assistance provided by Jordan in terms of JSDF’s operation in transporting Japanese nationals overseas and others in the region under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, and expressed his respect to the roles Jordan plays for the peace and stability of the Middle East region. Both sides reaffirmed that they will continue to cooperate on achieving regional peace and stability, as well as on further promoting Japan-Jordan defense cooperation and exchanges.
