On September 10, Defense Minister Nakatani attended a dinner hosted by H.E. Mr. George Glass, U.S. Ambassador to Japan. During the dinner, they reaffirmed their commitment to working closely together to further strengthen the deterrence and response capabilities of the Japan-U.S. Alliance. In addition to deepening the bilateral relationship, the importance of multilateral cooperation among like-minded countries was also emphasized, and constructive discussions were held toward realizing a "Free and Open Indo-Pacific."
