State Minister of Defense Honda received a courtesy call from General Joshua Rudd, Deputy Commander, U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) on June 16th. State Minister Honda expressed his respect for INDOPACOM for their dedication toward regional peace and stability. They empasized the importance of working closely together to elevate the Japan-U.S. Alliance to a higher level under the current increasingly severe secuirity environment surrouding the alliance.
