Based on the Article 6-1, 6-2 and 6-4 of the Drone Act (Act No. 9 of 2016), the Minister of Defense has issued a public notice designating the defense-related facilities, sites or areas of the defense-related facilities, and the areas surrounding the defense-related facilities. After a 12-day notification period, drone flights in the airspace over the areas surrounding the defense-related facilities will, in principle, be prohibited (effective July 9, 2025). In order to fly drones, prescribed procedures including obtaining consent from facility administrators are required.
