Location Sasebo harbor in Japan to Port of Manila, Philippines (on JS Ise)
Recipient 11 military or law enforcement officials from Pacific Island Countries

JMOD/JMSDF conducted the Ship Rider Cooperation Program with participants from Pacific Island Countries. On board of JS Ise, participants exchanged views on a variety of topics including international maritime law and Women, Peace and Security (WPS), observed exercises on the ship and delivered a presentation on their respective counties’ perspectives on maritime security.

The entire program contributed to maintaining and strengthening Free and Open Indo-Pacific.
