On June 1, 2025, Mr. Yamato Taro, Director General, Bureau of Defense Policy held a meeting in Singapore with Dr. Cho, Chang Rae, Deputy Minister for National Defense Policy, Ministry of National Defense, ROK.
At the meeting, they shared views on a security environment in the region and agreed the necessity to continue making progress in Japan-ROK bilateral and Japan-U.S.-ROK trilateral defense cooperation.
