1. On May 26, Japan-New Zealand Vice Ministers’ Meeting was held in Tokyo.
2. The Japanese delegation was led by Mr. Kano, Vice Minister of Defense for International Affairs, and New Zealand’s delegation was led by Dr. Brook Barrington, Secretary of Defence of New Zealand. They discussed topics including regional situation surrounding both country, defense policies of both country, and bilateral and multilateral defense cooperation and collaboration.
3. They concurred on continue working closely together to realize Free and Open IndoPacific.
