Defense Minister Nakatani received a courtesy call from retired Lieutenant General H.R. McMaster, Chair of the Advisory Board, Japan Chair, Hudson Institute, and welcomed his visit to Japan on March 12. They reaffirmed the importance of the Japan-U.S. Alliance amid the increasingly severe security environment and conducted a candid exchange of views on further strengthening the alliance.
