The JMOD and JMSDF implemented an invitational activity in the field of vessel maintenance for Philippine Navy (PN) personnel. The PN personnel received training on vessel maintenance, particularly on gas turbines at the JMSDF Yokohama Repair Supply Facility and the JMSDF 2nd Service School. Participants also conducted a visit to shipbuilding companies and a shipboard tour of “Yugiri” vessels which was under periodical maintenance. This project will contribute to the promotion of FOIP by enhancing the Philippine Navy’s maritime operations.
