  1. On February 6, the 9th Japan-Italy Military to Military (MM) Dialogue was held in Tokyo, Japan.
  2. The Japanese delegation was led by Mr. Arima Takanori, Director General for International Affairs, Bureau of Defense Policy, Ministry of Defense, and the Italian delegation was led by Rear Admiral (lower half) Marco MONTONERI, Deputy Chief of the Military Policy and Planning Division, Italian Defence General Staff.
  3. They exchanged views on a variety of issues, such as regional affairs and defense policy of both nations, etc. and deepened the discussion on bilateral defense cooperation and exchanges.3
