  1. On January 29, the 8th Japan-Cambodia Politico-Military (PM) Dialogue was held in Tokyo, Japan.
  2. The Japanese delegation was led by Mr. ARIMA Takanori, Director General for International Affairs, Bureau of Defense Policy and Mr. KASHIWABARA Yutaka, Deputy Director General, Southeast and Southwest Asian Affairs Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Cambodia’s delegation was led by H.E. Lt. Gen. SUON Samnang, Deputy Director-General, General Department of Policy and Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Military Cooperation Coordination Group (MCCG) and H.E. Mr. CHHAY Makara, Director-General, Department of Asia-Pacific, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
  3. They exchanged views on a variety of issues, including Japan-Cambodia security cooperation and regional situations.
