1. On January 16, Ambassador Boris Ruge, Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy, NATO visited Ministry of Defense to meet with Mr. ARIMA Takanori, Director General for International Affairs, Bureau of Defense Policy, and other defense officials.
2. Assistant Secretary General Ruge participated in the 18th Japan-NATO High-Level Consultations, and between Director General ARIMA, the two sides confirmed that they will continue to cooperate into strengthening the Japan-NATO relationship and discussed regional situations in East Asia and Europe.
