  1. On January 29, the 9th Japan-Cambodia Military to Military (MM) Dialogue was held in Tokyo, Japan.
  2. The Japanese delegation was led by Mr. ARIMA Takanori, Director General for International Affairs, Bureau of Defense Policy, and the Cambodia’s delegation was led by H.E. Lt. Gen. SUON Samnang, Deputy Director-General, General Department of Policy and Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Military Cooperation Coordination Group (MCCG). They exchanged views on a variety of issues, including Japan-Cambodia security cooperation and regional affairs. They also discussed the way forward for Japan-Cambodia defense cooperation and exchanges and other relevant topics.
