This year, MOD/SDF launched a capacity building program on HA/DR to enhance the disaster response capabilities of the Djibouti Defense Force Engineer Battalion.

During the initial phase, MOD/SDF trained Djibouti Defense Force members as operators and maintenance crew for excavators, dozers, graders and loaders.

Through this program, MOD/SDF will continue to promote defense cooperation with Djibouti and together, further cooperate towards international peace and stability.
