JMOD/JSDF implemented its first bilateral capacity building project for His Majesty’s Armed Forces (HMAF) Navy of Tonga.
During this project, instructors provided HMAF Navy personnel, who are in charge of outboard motor maintenance, with training on preventive maintenance methods, handling, and repair techniques for outboard motors. This training enhanced the HMAF Navy’s ability to maintain the motors necessary for performing its maritime missions.
JMOD/JSDF will continue fostering defense cooperation with Tonga and collaborate on regional peace and stability together.
