From 16 to 24 July, JMOD/JSDF conducted its third ‘Japan-ASEAN Cybersecurity Training Program for Defense Authorities’ with the attendance of eighteen (18) participants from ASEAN member states. The 2024 iteration was held at “Innovation Park” in Nha Trang with the full cooperation of the Vietnamese Ministry of Defense.
During the program, participants advanced their cybersecurity skills and knowledge through a variety of training, in a combination of practical training and seminars. Japan also invited a total of eight observers from Bangladesh, Maldives, Mongolia and Sri Lanka who actively interacted with other participants.
