On April 2nd, Defense Minister Kihara received a courtesy call from General Flynn, Commanding General, USARPAC.
Defense Minister Kihara welcomed General Flynn’s visit to Japan, and they discussed regional security situation including DPRK’s ballistic missile launch in this morning and concrete measures to enhance the Alliance capabilities to deter and respond, and confirmed the importance of maintaining rules-based international order as well as as a Free and Open Indo-Pacific.
