The JMOD and JMSDF implemented an invitational activity in the field of vessel maintenance for Philippine Navy (PN) personnel. The PN personnel received practical training on vessel maintenance, particularly on gas turbines, with actual equipment and simulators at the JMSDF 2nd Service School. Participants also engaged in an exchange of opinions as well as a shipboard tour of “Izumo” and “Yamagiri” vessels. This project will contribute to the promotion of FOIP by enhancing the Philippine Navy’s maritime operations.
