Recipient 11 military and police officers
JMOD/JMDF conducted the Ship Rider Cooperation Program on maritime security with participants from Pacific Island countries and Timor-Leste. The participants exchanged views during seminars on a variety of topics including international maritime law, observed exercises on the ship, took a flight on an onboard aircraft, and delivered a presentation regarding each county’s respective maritime security issues. The program contributed to maintaining and strengthening the idea of a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific”.
