1. On September 21, the 2nd Japan-Lithuania Bilateral Security Consultation was held in Vilnuius the Republic of Lithuania.
2. The Japanese delegation was led by Mr. MIURA Jun, Director General for International Affairs, Bureau of Defense Policy, Ministry of Defense, and the Lithuania delegation was led by Dr. Vaidotas URBELIS, Defence Policy Director at the Ministry of National Defence of the Republic of Lithuania.
3. They exchanged views on a variety of issues, such as regional affairs and defense policy of both nations, etc. and deepened the discussion on bilateral defense cooperation and exchanges.
