On Sep 28, Defense Minister Kihara had a meeting with H.E. Mr. Rahm Emanuel, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Japan. They exchanged views on regional security and Japan-U.S. defense cooperation in a friendly atmosphere and comfirmed that they would work together to further strengthen the Japan-U.S. Alliance.
