- On February 13, Japan-UK Vice Ministerial Defense Dialogue was held in London, the United Kingdom.
- The Japanese delegation was led by Mr. OKA Masami, Vice Minister of Defense for International Affairs, and the U.K. delegation was led by Mr. David WILLIAMS, Permanent Secretary to the U.K. Ministry of Defence. They exchanged views on the security strategies of Japan and the U.K., as well as regional affairs, and discussed a variety of issues including way forward to promote Japan-UK defense cooperation towards upholding and reinforcing a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific.”
