The JMOD/JSDF (Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Central Band) provided training – predominantly focused on marching performance drills – to 38 members of the PNGDF Military Band in order to develop their skills in the leadup to performances at the JSDF Marching Festival this year.
On 2 November, the PNGDF Military Band performed for Major General Mark Goina, Commander PNGDF, to demonstrate the outcomes of their rehearsals. Commander Goina also provided encouragement and well-wishes to the band members for their performance at the festival.
