Sep 6, Parliamentary Vice-Minister Onoda attended the workshop “Japan-US-Philippines Security Triangle: Enhancing Maritime Security, Shared Strategic Outlooks, and Defense Cooperation”, hosted by the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), and delivered opening remarks.
Parliamentary Vice-Minister Onoda noted as the security environment in the Indo-Pacific becomes increasingly severe & uncertain, it’s become more important than ever for Japan-US-Philippines to strengthen their partnership, and expressed her hope that the workshop would play roles in deepening exchanges among experts.
