As a defense cooperation project with Kazakhstan, an invitational activity in the field of military medicine was conducted for medical personnel of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan. During the activity, informative and practical discussions about military medicine took place as the delegation was being introduced to the capabilities of the JGSDF Medical Services School and while they undertook hands-on training at the JSDF Central Hospital.

2022 marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Kazakhstan. This invitational project was one of the "Commemorative events for the 30th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Japan and Five Central Asian Countries" recognized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and contributed to enhancing the relationship between both countries.
