As the initial defense cooperation project with Fiji, an invitational activity for medical personnel of the Republic of Fiji Military Force (RFMF) in the field of military medicine was implemented. During the activity, informative and practical discussions about military medicine took place while the delegation was introduced to the capabilities of the JGSDF Medical Services School and Camp Asaka GSVC Unit (Dispensary), the JMSDF Yokosuka Hospital, and the SDF Large-scale Vaccination Center (Tokyo). Additionally, as part of Japan-Fiji-Australia cooperation, an Australian expert in infectious diseases also delivered a lecture. By advancing our defense relationship with the RFMF, this project has contributed to maintaining and enhancing FOIP.
