On June 27, Defense Minister Kishi received a courtesy call from H.E. Mr. Jose C. Laurel V, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to Japan, who is about to leave his position. DM Kishi expressed gratitude for his efforts to develop relations between Japan and the Philippines during 5 years in office.
