From 16 to 20 May, the JMOD/JMSDF conducted a capacity building activity in the field of underwater unexploded ordnance (UXO) clearance with the Vietnam People’s Navy (VPN) in Nha Trang, Vietnam.
Through the activities, the JMSDF personnel conveyed specialized knowledge on underwater UXO clearance, and the VPN described their related facilities, resulting in a mutually beneficial event.
